Joshua Kimmich's header knocks Gunners out of Champions
FC Bayern Munich have reached the semi-finals of the Champions League after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Arsenal on Thursday night.
The German champions were in control of the game for long periods and deservedly took the lead in the second half through Joshua Kimmich's header.
Arsenal never really looked like getting back into the game and Bayern saw out the victory comfortably to reach the last four of the competition.
The victory was Bayern's fourth in a row over Arsenal and means that the Gunners have now been eliminated from the Champions League at the quarter-final stage for the sixth time in the last eight years.
Bayern will now face either Manchester City or Lyon in the semi-finals, while Arsenal will be left to reflect on another disappointing European campaign.
