AIM-260 Joint Advanced Tactical Missile Testing Begins, Production Expected Soon

Testing for the secretive AIM-260 Joint Advanced Tactical Missile (JATM) began as early as April 2020, and general testing for the missile has been ongoing since. The Air Force is moving towards procuring the Lockheed Martin AIM-260 JATM, which is expected to enter production this year at an accelerated pace.

The production of the Raytheon AIM-120 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) is being kept in high demand.
