Leading Industrial Automation and Memorialization Company Expands Board

Matthews International Corporation (NASDAQ: MATW), a global leader in industrial automation technologies and memorialization products and services, today announced the appointment of Ms. Daphne Wang to its Board of Directors. Ms. Wang's appointment is effective immediately.
Ms. Wang is a highly accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and manufacturing sectors. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Intelligent Automation and Engineering Services at Cognizant Technologies. Prior to joining Cognizant, she held senior leadership roles at General Electric and Honeywell. Ms. Wang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.
