Lawrence Taylor inducted in 2013

Larry Allen, a seven-time first-team All-Pro and 11-time Pro Bowler, was elected to the Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

Allen played for 14 seasons, making 1,276 pancake blocks and allowing only 10 sacks in his career. He was known for his strength and toughness, and he was widely regarded as the best offensive lineman of his generation.

Allen was born in Whittier, California, on November 27, 1971. He played college football at Sonoma State University, where he was a two-time All-American. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 1994 NFL Draft.

Allen was a key member of the Cowboys' offensive line during the team's run to three Super Bowl victories in the 1990s. He was named to the All-Pro team seven times and the Pro Bowl team 11 times during his career.

After leaving the Cowboys, Allen played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. He retired from the NFL in 2007.

Allen was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2013. He is one of only a few offensive linemen to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility.
